The initial scope of the contract consists of but not limited to; procurement and quality assurance of materials and components, threads, fabrication, welding, non-destructive testing meter modules and materials (including radiography), pressure testing, certification, assembly, painting, delivery and provision of documentation for various gas meter modules. Each module consists of an inlet valve, gas meter, control valve, filter, pressure regulator (with or without an integral pressure cut-off), relief valve (where applicable), outlet valve and ancillaries together with all necessary pipework and fittings pre-assembled and installed in an enclosure suitable for floor/wall mounting or a support frame. Table 1 below gives details on module, gas meter type and flow, pressure and temperature conditions required for each meter size.
